The Heirlooms of War: II

Children do not expect to carry the burdens of their parents. Parents do not ever dream of burdening their children. Nor passing their pain on, nor their struggles, or sorrows, or debt…yet they do. This is not their fault entirely. The whole thing is a burden. This whole life thing is a burden.

I guess they just thought it would get better after them. I guess they thought that their generation would have the chance to live in a free Palestine, or a free Sudan, or a free Kashmir. So they fought hard! Yet, their descendants carry their strife and pay for it in blood. What do we do with blood fertilized grounds?
